The information is overwhelming I know. I can't start to keep up on the latest news myself. Here are a few magazines and web sites with good quick info for planning your next fishing trip. Planning your next fishing trip so you will have the best chance for success is made easier if you will check a few thing first. I would start by looking at Gulf Coast Fisherman. They have an easy to read current chart. Current is one of the most important things for success no current less success. The next part to look at is fishing reports. The capt. at Salty Angler do a great job. If your looking longer range go to Texas Outdoors. Reel Reports and Texas Saltwater Magazine will also help you out. Always check the weather and tide heights. Between the wind direction, current direction and the areas you plan to fish you can come up with a game plan to help in having a more successful fishing trip.
